Meet our very happy and playful guy named Ryder! Ryder is about 3.5 years old and he was surrendered to us because his owner was recently in an accident, and she could no longer care for Ryder. Ryder is a very friendly and outgoing Lab who loves all people! He is a large boy and he is an American style Labrador. Ryder absolutely loves toys and tennis balls! He is also food motivated and knows how to sit politely for a treat. Ryder would love to go to a home with an active family who can give him some exercise and much needed attention. We would prefer Ryder go to a single family style home over a condo or apartment due to his size and energy level. He is a lovebug and he follows us attentively when we are outside or in our middle room. Ryder is good with other dogs and he can go to a home with children 10 years old and older who are sturdy on their feet.

You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal.
Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal.
An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments.
ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
