Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet Judy is Ready for Her New Beginning
Judy is a 13-year-old sweetheart with a heart full of love and a story full of hope. After losing her longtime owner a few months ago, this gentle girl has shown incredible resilience and grace. Now, she’s ready to find a new family who will cherish her for the special soul she is.
Judy is as easygoing as they come — she loves nothing more than a cozy spot to nap, a good helping of her favorite canned food, and quiet companionship. She’s wonderfully social with other cats and would also be happy in a home with respectful children who understand the beauty of a slower pace.
Life with Judy is peaceful and heartwarming. She doesn’t ask for much, just a soft bed, a warm lap, and someone to share her golden years with. In return, she’ll offer you endless affection, quiet moments of happiness, and the comforting presence that only a senior cat can bring.
If you believe love only grows better with time, Judy might just be the perfect match for you. Come meet her — she’s ready to complete your family.More information? Call Marion Area Humane Society at 740-389-6548 or email at manager@mahspets.org

More about this shelter
Marion Area Humane Society is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization incorporated in 1967 under ORC 1717. We strive to educate, assist and protect the animals of the Marion area. Since 1986 have operated a shelter to provide a humane environment for homeless animals. In 2011 several generous donors and grants made it possible for a shelter renovation and addition of a separate intake section. MAHS operates a open-admissions shelter with a guilt and fee free surrender policy, to encourage owners who can not properly care or maintain proper living conditions for their pets to do the best thing for the pet. MAHS also provides humane investigations and a spay/neuter voucher program for Marion county.
