Hiya! My name is Elmont, and I`m a curious little guy who`s full of personality. As a guinea pig, I`m always eager to explore my surroundings and learn new things. You`ll often find me scurrying around, popping my head up to get a better look at the world around me. But don`t let my curious nature fool you – I also know how to kick back and relax. I love nothing more than snuggling up in my cozy hideaway and chewing on some delicious veggies. If you`re looking for a furry friend who will keep you entertained and make you smile, then I`m your guy! Let`s have some fun together and see where my curiosity takes us.

Adoption Fees:
Dogs 7 months and older: $95
Puppies 6 months and younger: $300
Cats 7 months and older: $45
Kittens 6 months and younger: $150
Rabbits: $35
Guinea pigs: $15

Adoption fees for dogs and cats include:
First vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, microchipping, deworming and flea preventative.

All cats and kittens have been tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).

All dogs and puppies have received heartworm preventative, and dogs/puppies over the age of six months have been tested for heartworms.

All rabbits are spayed or neutered.

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Wake County is dedicated to creating a more humane community where every adoptable animal has a home. Each year the SPCA rehomes over 3,500 animals through its innovative adoption programs.

We rely almost entirely on private donations to fund our annual operating budget of $3 million.
