My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Griselda ACCT-A-211037 is currently considered urgent and at risk of euthanasia due to length of stay and lack of space for incoming dogs. Griselda must have confirmed placement with an ADOPTER, FOSTER, or RESCUE PARTNER by Monday, February 3rd by 10:00 am. Should Griselda’s medical or behavioral status change, her urgency and timeline for placement may also change.

Due to being significantly overcapacity with animals and higher than usual intake, extensions are unlikely to be granted. If you are interested in an animal please contact ACCT Philly immediately. Due to limited space, timestamps may also be proceeded with early so it is imperative to let us know if you are considering adopting or tagging an animal.

Griselda is an energetic and playful 4 year old who’s eager to meet her bestie! This lively girl greets everyone with a wagging tail, a loose body, and soft eyes, showing just how social and friendly she is. Griselda is full of excitement and wiggles, often jumping into the air with joy. She knows “sit” and takes treats gently, happily trading toys for snacks. While her energy can make her a bit all over the place, her enthusiasm for life is infectious. Griselda engages in play and is always ready for her next adventure.

Griselda has been noted to be a wiggly and social girl who loves meeting new people! She is looking for a home that can keep up with her energetic and bubbly nature. She can be a little snatchy with toys but will trade them for an extra yummy treat! Griselda is gentle when taking treats from you. While at the shelter, she’s had a good meet with another dog and quickly makes new canine friends. She’s looking for a home that can embrace her zest for life and help channel her energy into fun and positive activities. Could you be the one to give Griselda the chance she deserves?

to me

Griselda is a great pup. She is housebroken, she has been good with the cats though I am watching carefully. She is a little more interested than I trust. She has been smacked by them and no retaliation. I have seen her guard dishes against them though. My cats say they don't trust her and I trust their judgement. She isn't grabbing at them and is just smelling them. Maybe she had a cat playmate. She gets along great with my grumpy dogs. She respects them when they tell her to buzz off and no retaliation for.them correcting her. She would love a dog to play with her I think. She is non destructive. Hasn't even destroyed her own toys. Squeaks all work yet! No defluffing. She pulls on the leash with excitement. Loves to see a harness and leash. But is very good off leash. Knows her name.and responds very promptly when called. Up your butt pup who wants to.be right with you. Love love loves riding in the car. Jumps right in.

She is such a good girl and wants to.please. She gets anxious about.being left behind but doesn't do.anything. she seems to.be settling some on that though as she starts to trust. It is just 2 weeks. She.spent last night sleeping next to my bed and was great. She does know how to.use furniture but seems to.understand her chair.v.s. humans.

She is smart and tries to please. Medium energy
