Night needs an experienced adopter who will give him a week+ to settle in and get used to you. He can be nippy at first, but once he gets to know you, he is very loving. Night also has a complicated relationship with men. No kids in the house for this little guy.

Meet Night, a charming terrier mix with a heart full of love and a personality that’s impossible to resist! This 15 pound boy is around 3 years old. He may be small, but he’s big on affection, adventure, and pure cuteness—especially with his adorable underbite!

Night is a little lovebug who absolutely thrives on human companionship. He’s deeply attached to his human(s) and enjoys being picked up and held close. Whether it’s curling up on the couch or simply following you around the house, Night is happiest when he's by your side. He would do best in a home where his humans are present most of the time - either at home or taking him with them on adventures (he loves the car and travels well). He’s the perfect companion for someone who wants a small, affectionate dog who will always be near, and who can give him a few days of patience to get acclimated to you and his new home.

When it comes to play, Night is full of surprises! He’s never far from his miniature Lambchop stuffed animal, which he carries around with him wherever he goes. He surprised his foster mom by running and jumping into Long Island Sound and proved he can swim. When he gets the zoomies, there’s no stopping him! His bursts of playful energy are absolutely contagious, as he zips around with pure joy and excitement.

Night is friendly with other dogs and loves to play, making him a great companion for furry friends. He has not been cat tested.
