Hi there! My name is Ramona Flowers! Well I bet you didn’t think you would ever hear of a dog that was homeless with a “first” and “last” name, now did you? I think that’s a pretty fancy name for a young pup like me that is hoping to meet a new family! I was found in the yard of a kind stranger! When he saw me he knew I needed to be at the shelter. So here I am and I am ready to meet some new folks! I have all of my vaccinations for my age, I have a microchip, and I have been spayed. I am still a young pup, so please handle me with gentle hands and give me lots of love. Spend time with me and teach me good doggie manners. I want to be on my best behavior at all times when I am with the family!

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.

The Montgomery Humane Society prevents cruelty to animals by operating an animal shelter for homeless, abandoned, and unwanted animals; by operating an adoption center for healthy animals; by investigating cruelty and abuse cases; and by educating the public in animal owner responsibility.
