My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Prayer is looking for his forever snuggle buddy – is that you? Meet Prayer, an affectionate young guy who will lure you in with his deep stare and sweet demeanor. Prayer is a talkative kitty who loves to look at you attentively and his playful nature will surely win your heart. Prayer's superpowers are his sweet voice and affection that will never fail to make his human companions happy. He is known for being quite talkative and will engage in conversations with you if you talk back to him! Prayer's favorite activities are cuddling, settling in on your lap, playtime and making you laugh and smile with all of his adorableness – and oh boy does he love food!

Prayer is a very friendly kitty who gets along well with his older feline foster brothers. Since Prayer is still young, he will need to be adopted into a home that has another kitty friend to play with, or with another kitty from FFF.  He would probably do well in a home with other animals as long as he is given a slow and supervised introduction. He has yet to meet any children, but due to his loving and cuddly personality we suspect he will do well with older children who understand cat behavior and respect his boundaries. Children with appropriate adult supervision would be best for Prayer since he is still learning to direct his play toward toys and not human fingers! He does have a tendency to nip when asking for the things he loves. He would do well in a home with a lot of hustle and bustle, as he is not surprised by loud noises, including trains passing by.

Prayer thrives on affection and companionship. He needs to be in a patient home with people who will regularly love on him and give him lots of playtime with toys to direct his play to – he especially loves the furry ones! Prayer’s forever family should be prepared for him intruding in on your personal space demanding cuddles or your food. He’ll let you know he wants you off your phone and to give him love – he wants it and he wants it now! Prayer is a quirky little guy who has some weird food habits. He may require a little extra patience since he fancies himself the ultimate food thief! Prayer is very persistent in his hunting of human or cat food and he will likely approach you while you’re preparing food or eating it on the couch. He has even been known to try to grab food out of his foster family’s hands! He would do best in a household that finds his quirks more hilarious than annoying…or perhaps in a home with extra room so he can be separated from the kitchen while his family is preparing meals.

Additional adoption info

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:
http://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.

We have streamlined our adoption process to make it easy!  Everything from the application, to payment, to the contract is online.  Additionally, all of the cats records will be placed in your free Petlovers account at petstablished.com to keep organized.
