My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi. My name is Sleepy Gary. I am tiny but mighty. When my foster mom got me I didn’t even weigh a pound. That didn’t stop me from zooming around and playing and having as much fun as possible.

I love to be held like a baby when I am not wrestling with one of my litter mates. I am the sweetest boy. I love to sit on your lap and fall asleep. If a lap isn’t available, I will sit on the rocking chair with my littermates in a big pile. We have a fireplace and we love to be nice and toasty warm.

I love to play with toys, especially glitter balls, ball tracks, and fishing pole toys. I also like to just zoom around the room at top speed or play with my littermates.

I would love to be adopted with one of my littermates: Photography Raptor, Mrs. Refrigerator, or Pencilvester.

I would probably do best in a quieter home, or a home with older/gentle children.

I might be small, but I will fill your home with love.

Kittens need buddies! We require that kittens be adopted with a sibling or go to a home that already has another young companion animal. If you already have a young animal or another kitten in your home, great! If not, Sleepy Gary will need to be adopted with one of their siblings (Pencilvester, Photography Raptor, and Mrs. Refrigerator ).

The adoption fee for a kitten is $250. For a pair, the adoption fee is $500.

Note: Kittens must be 10+ weeks old before they can go home.

Additional adoption info

If you’re thinking about adding a kitten or two to your family, a Bitty Kitty is a great choice! Kittens who have been bottlefed tend to be extra friendly and snuggly!

By adopting a kitten from the Bitty Kitty Brigade, you’ll be supporting our no-kill organization and making room for us to take in another orphan kitten.

All of our cats receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. Prior to adoption, all of our kittens are:

FeLV/FIV tested
spayed/neutered
treated for external and internal parasites
microchipped
FVRCP (distemper) vaccinated

Please allow 24-48 hours for a reply to an adoption inquiry.

More about this rescue

The Bitty Kitty Brigade is a foster-based rescue for orphaned neonatal kittens in the Twin Cities, MN and surrounding areas.

Our mission is:
To provide care for orphaned neonatal kittens and to partner with animal rescue organizations and impound facilities to improve survival rates within the neonatal kitten population.

The Bitty Kitty Brigade provides care for kittens ages 0-6 weeks who are without mothers and not yet eating on their own. Once weaned, the kittens are either transferred to one of our partner no-kill organizations or transferred to another caregiver within our organization where they will be cared for until adoption age.
