This dog is recommended for a home with older children.

This dog has not been tested with cats at LHS, and has no known history of living in a home with cats.

Due to my physical appearance, I may experience discrimination and be unable to live in a city with Breed Specific Legislation.

Moose is the ultimate adventure buddy wrapped in a giant, loveable package! At 6 years old, he’s the perfect mix of fun-loving energy and laid-back snuggles. Moose is a total goofball with a silly personality that will keep you laughing. He’s also incredibly photogenic, always ready for the camera with his charming expressions and heart-melting eyes.

Despite his size, Moose is convinced he’s meant to be a lap dog. He’ll happily curl up with you for hours, making every moment feel extra cozy. He’s also patient and kind, making him a wonderful companion for all kinds of adventures—whether it’s a road trip, a scenic hike, or just lounging on the couch together.

With his adventurous spirit, endless affection, and love for treats, Moose is ready to be your BFF. If you’re looking for a dog who will bring joy, laughter, and non-stop cuddles, Moose is the one for you!

There may be a dog or child meet also required, depending on the animal. There may be some animals that must meet all members of the home.

Submit Application

This will ensure that both the adopter and animal have their needs met.

Additional adoption info

The adoption process may take anywhere from 45 minutes to two hours. This is to ensure both you and your new family member are all set to go. We do stop all visits and adoptions at 5:30.

We provide temporary shelter to thousands of animals every year. Dogs, cats and small mammals that are lost, surrendered or abandoned will receive loving attention, nutritious food, meticulous health care and daily exercise during their stay at our facility.
