My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Cindy Lou, a tender-hearted terrier mix who came to us just before Christmas, scared and unsure of what love truly means. This sweet girl is looking for a patient and understanding home that will give her the time she needs to feel safe and loved. While she may be shy and timid at first, Cindy Lou’s gentle spirit and kind nature will shine through as she learns to trust.

Cindy Lou gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and finds comfort in their companionship. Her current favorite is a bigger dog she follows around like a shadow, showing her desire to connect and find security in friendship.

Her adoption fee is $300, which includes her spay, negative heartworm test, up-to-date vaccines, and prevention (ProHeart and Bravecto). Cindy Lou is currently located in Texas but is eligible for transport to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington (Kentucky), or anywhere along the East Coast. Please note there is an additional transport fee of $225, and we cannot transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state regulations.

Cindy Lou is ready to find a family that will cherish her for the amazing dog she is. If you’re ready to give this shy but lovable girl the forever home she deserves, apply today at www.adoggie4you.org. Cindy Lou is eagerly waiting for her chance to be part of a loving family!

Additional adoption info

Adoption application is required. Applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. A picture of your home or yard may be requested

All dogs and puppies are fully vetted prior to adoption (spay/neuter, rabies, 3 DHPP, bordetella, heartworm test/treat if positive) and are micro-chipped.

Our fees start at $200, transport out of Texas is arranged by us and is generally an additional $200.
We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet. Our contract requires if an adoption does not work out the dog is to be returned to us. We need at least two weeks notice.
