Meet Tabasco, a charming 5-month-old kitten with a sweet personality and a motor-like purr! He loves cuddles but also enjoys his independence, often napping and playing solo. A natural talker, Tabasco delights in `reporting updates` from his favorite perch by the window. Having been primarily indoors, Tabasco feels uneasy about outdoor adventures. He gets along well with other cats and warms up to dogs over time but seems happiest as the sole feline ruler of the house. If you`re looking for a curious, affectionate, and slightly chatty companion, Tabasco is ready to bring joy to your home!

The process is quite simple! Please stop by and see for yourself. All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to going home.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit open intake shelter that serves all of East Baton Rouge parish. We strive to improve the lives of abandoned, unwanted and abused animals in our parish. We house approximately 400 animals at any given time. We take in 20-30 new animals a day. We are always in need of fosters both short and long term, donations, and volunteers.
