Jenny is a 1.5-year-old Rottweiler with a heart as big as her paws! She’s an energetic young lady who thrives in active environments where she can run, play, and keep her mind sharp. Whether it’s fetching a toy, going for a walk, or just curling up for some quality snuggles, Jenny is always up for the adventure.

Though she’s still young, Jenny is smart, eager to learn, and enjoys positive reinforcement training. Jenny gets along well with people, especially when they show her love and patience. She's a loyal protector and will quickly become your best friend and confidante.

Her ideal home would be with someone who has experience with active breeds (she is small for her breed but tends to me a more dominant dog) and is ready to give Jenny the discipline, attention, and exercise she needs. She is in a foster home with another dog, and doing great! They love to play and wrestle.

To submit an application, you will need to create an AnimalsFirst account. Please write down the username and password that you create.

Home Check

Home visits are being done virtually due to Covid.

3.
Meet the Pet

The majority of our dogs are in foster homes along the front range. Fosters will contact you to schedule a meeting with you and your dog.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Contracts will be signed through your AnimalsFirst account. Please have your login information prior to meeting the dog.

5.
Pay Fee

Payment will be made through your AnimalsFirst account. Please have your login information prior to meeting the dog.

6.
Take the Pet Home

Don't forget an adoption picture! We like to post adoption pictures to our Facebook and Instagram pages.

Go meet their pets

Over 75% of our dogs are in foster homes along the front range. The foster will get in touch to schedule meetings for their foster dog. Meetings will happen in/near their homes since that is where the dog is the most comfortable. We do want you to bring family members (human and dog) to the meeting! Dogs who are currently at our Windsor facility will have meetings there and a volunteer will reach out to schedule those meetings with you. Please be aware that we do not place our dogs on a first come, first served basis, but rather a best-fit placement. Never fear, applications are valid for a year so if the first dog you meet isn't a good fit, we will have plenty of time to find one that is.
