Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Tuxxy is a gorgeous and gregarious, olive-green-eyed, black and white plush long-haired 13-pound, seven-year-old, tuxedo cat with a plume of a tail, looking for a loving guardian.
This dude was a beloved community cat in Norridge, Illinois. He was so friendly that a family decided he needed to move indoors.
Tuxxy loves people, other cats, and dogs. He takes younger cats under his wing and becomes a leader.
Tuxxy was found to have FIV (Feline immunodeficiency virus) which led to Inflammation in his mouth and gums. So, he had all his teeth pulled. But, don’t worry … at 13 pounds, he has no trouble eating wet or dry food and his adoption includes a supply of all his favorites.
FIV is spread through bite wounds but since Tuxxy has no teeth and is a lover, not a fighter, he is not a risk of spreading the virus.
Tuxxy loves his toys, adores being brushed, has perfect litter box habits, and would love to be the center of someone’s universe.
He is healthy, de-wormed, neutered, vaccinated for distemper and rabies, and microchipped.
To meet and possibly adopt Tuxxy, please fill out an adoption application https://friendsofpetraits.com/cat-adoption-application/
After the application is complete, please contact friendsofpetraits@gmail.com to schedule an appointment to meet him.
Tuxxy’s adoption fee of $175 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. He is currently being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
