Belle came to our shelter through no fault of her own. Belle had recently experienced a lot of changes in her life, and was quite timid when she arrived. With gentle, consistent attention, Belle has gained confidence and is showing off her sweet side. She loves cheek scratches and can be quite chatty. When you first meet her, Belle might be hiding under her blankets. Don`t pass her by! Stop and call her name and Belle may call back to you as she worms her way out for attention. From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.
