My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Joni Mitchell, and I am a pretty little Bassett Hound mix puppy. That was born the middle of October to a pure bred Bassett Mama. The owner of our mom is homeless in living in a tent outside and a few weeks ago, he decided he needed to find a rescue to help me and my siblings find homes and get out of the cold and living in a tent in the woods.  It was the most loving thing he could have done for us.  My foster mom is so good to me and I followed her everywhere. She has taught me about crate training, and I am already housebroken.  I love to play with the other dogs. And I am trying to learn not to be afraid of the man who has called her husband at my foster home.  I just feel easier around girls.  On New Year's Eve, the teenage girls that live at the foster home had their friend's over and I had so much fun being loved on by all of them period I really do like people.  I'm a little hesitant with men, but I'm really working hard to get over it. I am pretty late back and I know that I probably could give you the best cuddles and snuggles this winter.  I would be a forty pound Bassett looking girl when I grow up period right now, I weigh eleven pounds.  I'm ready for adoption right now. And I can write up on the transport van from nashville, tennessee, 21 of six transport stops along our route through the northeastern states. If you are interested, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com

PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?
