Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Cookie Beans, aka Cookie with the Big Beans, has a big personality. A little clumsy, his life on the street consisted mostly of hunting chicken wings from trash cans. Since he's been indoors, his life energy and playfulness is blossoming like your smile at a good bake sale. Cookie loves to play with interactive toys and especially loves to drag his "prey" back to his lair (don't be deceived though, he's not a great mouser but he'll charm you anyway). He lives life much too fast paced to stop for a good photo opp!
An affectionate lover, he loves to snuggle and sleep on your lap. After he's exhausted himself from plays of course. He enjoys listening to Santana on record and other sad-boy-dad-rock. Cookie could do well as an only cat, but his ideal situation would include at least one other cat in search of a playmate or companion. While he hasn't had the opportunity to interact with children or dogs, he could potentially be a good fit for either (or both) with appropriate introductions (his foster family would be happy to help facilitate this).
Cookie is litter box trained, but is still learning that tables and counters aren't for big paws. Otherwise he is a quick learn! He is currently in the beginning stages of informal clicker training. Maybe you'll add him to your cookie jar!
Cookie Beans is around 8 months old and is neutered, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained.
Adoption fee: $125 (plus tax)

* All cats must be kept indoors. In special circumstances, we may waive this requirement on a case-by-case basis.
* We do not adopt to any home that will declaw an animal. Declawing is cruel and unnecessary.
* All cats/kittens must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
* Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs or into a home with another active cat or cat-friendly dog.
* Your adoption fee helps to cover a small part of the costs of veterinary care. However, we strongly recommend that you take your new kitty to your vet for a check-up shortly after adopting to establish a relationship and a lifetime of regular check-ups and care.
