Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Lisa Louise! She is a 7 pound Chi- Terrier mix around 4 or 5 years old. She is shy and timid at first, but once acclimated she loves to cuddle covered in cozy blankets. She doesn't mind other dogs but can get a bit bossy around them - typical Chihuahua😄.
She is very loyal who is gentle and quiet. She has a funny side to her as well. Because she likes her quiet space, she would prefer home without smaller children. She is house trained, enjoys going for long walks, and doesn't even need a crate as she behaves just like a lady when left alone.
In a new home she will need some extra time as she is very stressed about new surroundings and people. With love and patience, she will make a fantastic companion. If would like to meet this sweetheart please complete an application at https://forrescue.net/dog-application/ Lisa Louise is located in Huntsville, Alabama, with possible transport to your area. Friends of Rescue requires a home visit and vet reference prior to all adoptions. All Friends of Rescue animals are indoor family members.

More about this rescue
Friends of Rescue is a certified 501(c)(3) organization formed in 2009, consisting of volunteers who are devoted to saving shelter animals that are in danger of euthanasia. Southern shelters have a constant overflow of dogs and cats, little funding, and limited space. Once the animals arrive at the shelter, they have very little time. It is our goal to help save these adoptable animals and find loving individuals/families who will provide committed, FORever homes. We are NOT professional trainers or animal behaviorists; simply volunteers who are trying to save these animals from euthanasia. Each animal in our program is in a foster home and receives all age-appropriate vetting while in our care.
