Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ian is quite the little charmer if I do say so! Being the biggest of the litter - he's also the laziest! He loves nothing more than a cuddle and to chew on one of his bones, and then perhaps some playtime! But otherwise, he's content with allllll the love in the world! We cannot get enough of this hambone! The most content puppy you could EVER dream of, Ian doesn't have a care in the world, unless of course it has to do with giving and receiving all the lovin's! As he's then ALL in, with a wiggly butt, and swingin' tail, he's quick to roll over for some belly rubs, and often crawl right up into anyone's lap, knowing exactly how to use his adorable brown eyes for all that he could ever want! How can we resist? Look at this little guy! At about 3 months old, he is a genuine hambone, weighing in at about 12 pounds, and alllll puppy chunk! Ian adores romping with the other dogs, playing with the volunteer kiddos, and even the kitties! What could be better than adding Ian into your family? Not much, considering this guy is well on his way to having learned all of the basics, AND he's just a pint-sized companion boy!

More about this shelter
We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!
Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
