My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We were driving down Highway 1 in the middle of Baja and spotted this girl on the side of the road. We pulled over to check on her and saw that she recently had puppies. She took no time to warm up to us coming right up and rolling over for belly rubs. She was so far from any town or any water source so we knew she needed to come with us but we also hoped to save her puppies. After searching we found 2 of the puppies, who unfortunately didn’t make it and sadly came to the conclusion that the others didn’t either (often because of coyotes).

This girl went straight to the vet for all of her shots and then to the beach! She surprised us, running straight into the water and rolling around. She looked so relieved. She has now been with us for one full week and it’s safe to say she is a fantastic dog. She is loyal, sticks around without a leash whether we are at our camper or off fishing. She made herself right at home in our camper and chose the couch area as her bed. She is still malnourished and we are continuing to try to put weight on her and her boobies are slowly drying up.

Brynn is a sweetheart with our 3 other rescues and is great with all other animals and kids we have encountered. She sleeps through the night and has never had an accident. She is a strong swimmer, loves to go for long walks/hikes but doesn’t mind just laying around and soaking up the sun. Brynn is definitely food motivated, she is not aggressive in any way but gets very excited at feeding time. This could be a useful trait for training. Even though she loves her food, she surprisingly doesn’t beg when we are eating.

We have been on several long drives with her and she is an angel in the car. Lays down with her head on your lap and occasionally pops her head up to catch some views.

Brynn has the most brilliant yellow eyes that really stops people in their tracks and she will love her humans unconditionally. I think she would make a great family dog or really a great dog for anybody.

More about this rescue

Hi, we are Nick and Alli! A couple living in a truck camper, traveling around Mexico rescuing street dogs. Street dogs really are the sweetest most loyal companions. There are so many deserving dogs just waiting to find their forever home and be the greatest addition to their new family. What we do is unique because when we rescue a dog, they come live with us in our camper, travel around and join us on a bunch of incredible adventures. By doing so, we really get to know each dog's personality, their strengths, their likes and dislikes and you get to see if one of our dog's would be a good fit for your family. We document everything so you get to witness firsthand where we find them, how we find them, and be a part of their beautiful journey from a life on the street to in a loving home. We truly love what we do and are thankful for every dog that comes into our lives because they also have their unique way of changing our lives for the better.
