Cranberry has a heartbreaking story with his life before MatchDog Rescue brought him to safety. He was a victim of unimaginable neglect. Cranberry was left to suffer in a junk ridden backyard, in a pig sty with a pot bellied pig, and their water supply was contaminated with algae. Animal control removed them from this situation and MDR took over the care for Cranberry. He is now ready to embark on a better life, one with a warm home, safety, and affection. If you think you are a match for Cranberry, the application is easy and the adoption fee is affordable. More about this rescue

We rescue at risk dogs from high kill areas -- primarily from the Valley of Texas where over 100 dogs are put down every day at some of the high kill shelters. We get our dogs fully vetted and up to date on shots before bringing them up to NJ and finding them loving homes!
