Meet Ursus, the handsome and goofy lad that might just be the happiest Great Pyrenees you'll ever meet. Born around May 2019, this playful boy loves nothing more than galloping around the yard, sniffing the air, rolling in the grass, and leaping through the rain with pure joy. Ursus knows how to sniff out the fun and live life to the fullest! With his dashing looks and easy-going nature, he’s a head-turner on every walk, especially with his leash demeanor that’s nothing short of gentlemanly. Ursus loves his daily outings and will happily engage in long walks where he can strut his stuff. Now, let’s talk about his social life. Ursus isn’t exactly a “bro’s bro” and he absolutely insists on a cat-free zone. While he prefers the company of female and smaller dogs over felines and his male counterparts, he’s a social butterfly who believes every stranger is just a friend he hasn’t met. But wait, there’s more! Ursus is a smarty-paws who thrives on brain games. He loves hunting for hidden treats or solving the "which cup is the treat under" puzzle. Super smart and eager to please, Ursus will patiently wait with a treat right in front of him, waiting for your signal to dig in. And when playtime winds down, Ursus is all about the snuggles. This affectionate guy loves rolling over for belly rubs and cozying up on the floor. He adores attention and would happily spend his day being petted and brushed, all day, every day! Ursus is great at dropping things on command and doesn't mind you taking things from his mouth—even during meals. There's nothing he won't do for a treat, and he responds beautifully to positive reinforcement. So if you’re looking for a playful and bubbly pup with a smart, curious mind, Ursus is your guy. Adopt him, and you’ll have a friend for life!
