My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fresh from Kings County, Lydia is a striking black and white tuxedo cat with phenomenal whiskers and a purr so loud it’s practically a symphony of love. Her sleek coat and endearing gaze reveal a kind soul ready to find her forever home.

Lydia’s quiet charm and affectionate nature will quickly win you over, whether she’s serenading you with her hearty purrs or curling up in a cozy spot nearby. If you’re looking for a loving companion to brighten your days, Lydia might just be the perfect match. Come meet this lovely girl and see how easily she’ll whisk her way into your heart and home!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
