My story

Arrival Story: Poor Black Jack comes to us from a home where he was somewhat neglected. Because his owner's wife didn't like hair in her house, he was kept outside, tied to a tree all day long and at night, he was kept in a cage - never being able to run free, play or snuggle with a human.

Age / Weight: Approx. 2 Years and 15-20 lbs.

Personality Description: Black Jack is a wonderful little boy. Because a nice neighbor was on the look out for him, he was able to leave his neglectful home and has come to live in a dog daycare until his new forever home or foster home can be found. All the employees at the daycare love Black Jack. He is friendly, gets along with big and small dogs and loves soaking up all the attention he is getting there. He is just a sweet boy!

Ideal Forever Home: We think BlackJack would do well in many situations. He has lived in a home before but not in a way a normal dog does so he might need a few extra days to adjust but he can/will. He just wants someone to love and to be around his people.

Black Jack is in the process of being neutered. ADOPTION PROCESS - Our process involves all applicants first completing a pre-adoption application which gives us more information on the applicant, their family and their lifestyle. This helps us determine if the applicant is a good match for the pet they are trying to adopt. Adoption Application Adoption Fee: His adoption fee will be $175 and includes age appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip and spaying.

Black Jack is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
