My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Midnight and Romeo are 4-month-old bonded brothers who are looking for their forever home together. We will only adopt these kittens out as a pair.

Midnight is an absolutely gorgeous big boy with his onyx face and lion-like mane, touched with silver. He is a little shyer than Romeo and likes to sit close to the action, just observing for a while when a wand toy is moving. But once he gets going he plays like crazy with his brother.
Midnight will take a little time to become friendly and cuddly with a new person but it's well worth the effort because he's a sweet boy.

Romeo is aptly named because he is just a big love bug. His favorite place to sit is just behind your neck where he purrs into your hair. He also likes lying in your lap and sometimes even falls asleep. He is super sweet and a stunningly beautiful kitten.

Romeo and Midnight love to play together and cuddle up in a cozy cave to sleep. Since Romeo is the confident one, he helps Midnight to come along and explore new situations and meet new friends.

Kingdom Animal Shelter is not a "same day" adoption shelter. To adopt from Kingdom Animal Shelter:
Complete an adoption application and authorization for release of information form and bring them to the Shelter during adoption hours or email them to adoptions@kingdomanimalshelter.com or mail them in to P.O. Box 462, St. Johnsbury, VT 05819. The application and release of information forms are available at http://www.kingdomanimalshelter.com/available-cats.html or you can pick them up from the shelter during adoption hours.
An adoption counselor will review your application, contact 1-2 personal references and contact your veterinarian for a reference. Additionally, if you are a renter, we will contact your landlord for permission to have an animal in the household.
Please allow at least 3 business days for the process to be completed.
After the review is complete, the adoption counselor will contact you, generally by e mail or by phone.
You will be notified if your application is approved or declined.
If the application is approved, you will work with the adoption counselor to work out a mutually agreed upon time and date for you to take your cat home.
