Titan is a 4 month old Dutch Shepherd mix who can’t wait to take on the world with his lucky forever people! Titan was a surprise addition to our rescue volunteer when she arrived at the shelter. They asked if we could make space for him in the rescue van and we just couldn’t say no! Titan bounded right into our hearts and has been a loving, fabulous addition to the rescue ever since! Titan weighs around 12 pounds now and we expect he will be in the 55-65 pound range when he reaches his adult weight. If you’re ready to meet the center of your world, meet Titan!

Titan is a playful, outgoing, and sweet puppy who will make himself a central fixture of your life from day one! He adores his people and loyally follows them from room to room (especially when they have tasty treats to offer him). Titan is super smart and a fast learner, especially as he takes after the resident dog who has been showing him all the highlights of life as a dog. He loves cuddles and totally thinks he is a lapdog, curling up as best as he can in your lap as you rub his belly and scratch behind his ears. Titan has a ton of puppy energy but he’s happy to keep himself company with his toys as needed. He can even play fetch by himself which is extremely impressive if you ask us! According to Titan’s foster he is an uber sweet boy who will make his forever home the happiest people on the planet! He can’t wait to meet you and get the adventure of a lifetime started!

Titan wakes up at 7 AM and heads outside to practice going potty. He plays with the resident hound for a bit until he enjoys his breakfast. He eats three times a day: 8 AM, 1 PM, and 7 PM. During the day, Titan cycles between playing with his toys, romping around with the resident pup, enjoying snacks, getting cuddles, and taking plenty of naps. In the evening, Titan gets lots of snuggles as his foster humans unwind from a busy day. Titan goes out for one last potty and then goes into his crate for the night.

Titan currently lives with a large breed dog who he loves playing with. He would love a playmate in his new home. Titan’s forever home should be prepared to continue the training and socialization his foster home has started. Titan can’t wait to take on the world with you, so what are you waiting for!

Titan is only an option for homes who have prior dog owning experience. Kids should be over the age of 7.

More about this rescue

We are passionate folks who love dogs and love people! We strive to make the most appropriate match between human and canine. Because our dogs live in foster homes we know about their temperament and personality and therefore can help families and individuals decide if the dog is a good match or not. We are excited to help people find the right pooch for them and look forward to meeting great folks and welcoming them into the DPS Family.
