My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miss Clover! This shepherd girl is a SWEETHEART through and through! She's just been living it up with her foster family - and now she's finally ready for adoption! Clover adores the foster kiddos, and all of their attention, not to mention, their playtime together! But it goes without saying, at about 6 years old or so, she doesn't need a HUGE amount of playtime! Clover's known to do well with dogs similar to her size or bigger, and at about 55 pounds, that's no problem! She's 100% crate-trained, seemingly house-broken, and knows all of the basic obedience you'd ever imagine! She's a shepherd, that's for certain! One of her foster's favorite things about her is her overall nature; how she's typically calm, collected, and amazingly obedient. When Clover's not actively seeking out all of your love and attention, she's just as content to cuddle up near your feet, or even better, crossed your lap! We know she will be a phenomenal addition to most homes!

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!

Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
