Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Digby-boy! Sweet as honey, and as long as a weenie dog, with a longggg tail to match! This guy KNOWS how to use his puppy-dog eyes, and he utilizes them anytime he's gotten caught in some trouble, orrrr just being a little mischievous! Digby has that lovable, witty dachshundy personality that gets EVERYONE to fall in love, paired by his wiggle butt and wagging his tail; he's a heart melter. Digby gets along amazingly with other dogs, and he does a quality job of keeping the BIG dogs in line! We can't help but love him for it! We think Digby will do amazingly in most homes ready to keep up with all that comes along with a dachschundy mix! While he's definitely got the love for cuddles at only 2 years old, he's hitting that perfect age, too, where he starts to slow down, and enjoy just sitting out in the sun. If you can't tell already, Digby stole my heart. His personality, and adorability is just too great. Without mentioning, he's believed to be house-broken, since he keeps his kennel nice and clean, AND he knows his basic commands! Plus, who could resist that smolder?! Okay, okay, I'm done now, just come meet him, he's just too perfect!

More about this shelter
We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!
Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
