My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name’s Blaidd (pronounced Blythe), and I’m a very sweet and mellow boy. My gentle gaze is irresistible. Pick me up for some cuddles, and you’ll find that my fur is so soft and my endless purrs are so relaxing that you’ll want to cuddle me forever!

Of course, I still love to play just like any other kitten! I wrestle and run around with my sisters, and I’m always up for chasing wand toys, especially the ones with a mouse or feathers on them! I’ll even hop into the air to try to catch toys, though my vertical could use some work.

I’d really like to be adopted with one or both of my sisters (Rellana & Ranni), but I think I’d be happy with a new kitty companion, as well!

Come meet me in my foster home to fall in love!

Kittens need buddies! We require that kittens be adopted with a sibling (or mom) or go to a home that already has another young companion animal. If you already have a young animal or another kitten in your home, great! If not, Blaidd will need to be adopted with their sibling, Ranni or Rellana.

The adoption fee for a kitten is $250.

Note: Kittens must be 10+ weeks old before they can go home.

Additional adoption info

If you’re thinking about adding a kitten or two to your family, a Bitty Kitty is a great choice! Kittens who have been bottlefed tend to be extra friendly and snuggly!

By adopting a kitten from the Bitty Kitty Brigade, you’ll be supporting our no-kill organization and making room for us to take in another orphan kitten.

All of our cats receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. Prior to adoption, all of our kittens are:

FeLV/FIV tested
spayed/neutered
treated for external and internal parasites
microchipped
FVRCP (distemper) vaccinated

Please allow 24-48 hours for a reply to an adoption inquiry.

More about this rescue

The Bitty Kitty Brigade is a foster-based rescue for orphaned neonatal kittens in the Twin Cities, MN and surrounding areas.

Our mission is:
To provide care for orphaned neonatal kittens and to partner with animal rescue organizations and impound facilities to improve survival rates within the neonatal kitten population.

The Bitty Kitty Brigade provides care for kittens ages 0-6 weeks who are without mothers and not yet eating on their own. Once weaned, the kittens are either transferred to one of our partner no-kill organizations or transferred to another caregiver within our organization where they will be cared for until adoption age.
