Sage is a is a gorgeous, green-eyed, incredibly sweet and loving, nine-month-old, 5-pound, female blue and white tuxedo cat looking for a loving guardian.
Sage came into Friends of Petraits rescue when her human, a teenage boy, was walking down the street with her offering everyone his kitten. Luckily, someone took the cat and brought her into our rescue.
Sage is a wonderful feline; well-behaved in the home and uses her litter box and scratching post like a good girl. She’s easy to handle and she lets you easily trim her claws. She loves toys and treats. The only thing she doesn’t love is DOGS!
Poor Sage came into rescue with pyometra, a life-threatening uterine infection, which left untreated which would have killed her.
Luckily, our veterinarian was able to treat her right away which included spay surgery and antibiotics. She is now on the road to recovery, de-wormed, spayed, vaccinated for distemper and rabies, virus-tested negative, and microchipped.
