My name is LILA!

Hi! My name is Lila, I am a cattle dog mix, and they tell me I am one year and eight months old. We cattle dogs are a smart, attentive breed, and the nice people here say that I am no exception. I am a little shy and wary when I first meet someone (this is also normal for us cattle dogs), but I warm up quickly when I get to know you. I tend to like the people who are willing to scratch my rear end the most.
I’m sort of the same way with dogs that I am with people, except for the rear-end scratching part, of course. I take dogs one at a time, and don’t like to be rushed into a relationship.
I would love the chance to meet you, and your dog, if you have a dog (or two). If we all get along, I think I would make a great addition to the household. We cattle dogs (you can look this up) are very loyal to our immediate families. We love our family-people and family-dogs, but we don’t need a big social network beyond that.
