My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Age: 2 months

Meet Dalton, Thompson, Rutherford, Bohr and Einstein! These little physicists came to Calgary Humane with their mama, and after growing big and strong in foster, are ready to find homes of their own! Like any good scientist, these little ones love to experiment and test the laws of physics, so don`t forget to make your laboratory (home) safe for these little scientist (kittens). Plenty of love, playtime, and attention will be needed to help them grow up strong, confident adults. They`d love to go home with a sibling (they love to snuggle with their brothers and sisters) or to a home with an adult cat as a playmate and friend! If you can give these little ones a home where they will be cherished for many years to come, then come by Calgary Humane today!

More about this shelter

CONNECTING LIVES SINCE 1922

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.

Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.

Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.

Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.

Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.

Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
