Rocky is a 1 year old blue heeler/Pyr Mix. He is potty trained and crate trained. He has the typical tenacious cattle dog personality. He loves to play with other dogs but we don't recommend him with dominant dogs or dogs smaller than him due to his dominant behavior when playing.

More about this rescue

Stray Haven provides homes, as foster space allows, for dogs and puppies. We primarily focus on pulling dogs and puppies from independent rescuers who have little resources to secure the vetting and homes that these precious babies so desperately need. Some counties in rural areas don't have access to a county run shelter or facility and these independent rescuers are breaking their backs trying to make sure that dogs aren't starving or freezing after abandonment.

In addition to taking in these dogs and puppies, our outreach continues to help independent rescuers by providing education, exposure for the animals in their care and donations when possible to support their cause.
