My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pop Tart (aka Poppy)!

This sweet 6-year-old Pomeranian is ready to find her forever home! Poppy has blossomed in her foster home, and her personality is shining bright. She’s a playful, affectionate little shadow who loves to follow her human everywhere.

Poppy is doing well with potty training, as long as she’s taken outside regularly, but she absolutely needs a secure, fenced-in yard to keep her safe. (Her foster mom had to reinforce the fence after Poppy attempted a sneaky escape on her first day!) She’s playful with her foster siblings and gets along wonderfully with other dogs, so a home with canine companions would be a bonus.

If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion who will always be by your side, Poppy could be the perfect addition to your family. She’s ready to shower her new family with love and joy!

Poppy is up to date on vaccines, spayed, and microchipped.

Adoption requirements:

    •    Secure, fenced-in yard

    •    Commitment to continuing her potty training routine

Go meet their pets

Our rescues are with fosters on the east coast. The location in which the foster resides should be listed with each profile.

We are setting up some adoption events now, but are free for private meet and greets if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets!

More about this rescue

We have a passion for senior animals. To be able to save an animal from dying alone in a shelter, to give it a chance to live out its last days/months/years in a home with the proper care and love it deserves, instead of a cold shelter, is what drives us to keep going.

We obviously have financial needs that come with rescuing senior dogs, so we will be rescuing puppies and younger dogs as well so we are able to care for our seniors.
