Meet Star, a young, sweet, and friendly mama cat with a heart full of love. She was rescued after being abandoned and quickly charmed her foster family with her gentle and affectionate nature. Soon after, Star surprised everyone by giving birth to a healthy, adorable litter. Now that her kittens are ready to find their forever homes, Star is also looking for a family to call her own—a place where she can relax and share her loving personality.

Once you submit an application, one of our dedicated adoption volunteer coordinators will contact you.

Meet the Pet

Some of our kitties are in foster homes and about 40 are at our shelter. So be patient! We may have to schedule a visit at a foster home.

3.
Approve Application

The volunteer adoption coordinator will call your veterinary reference and your personal references. Video home visit too!

At any given time, Ferndale Cat Shelter has at least 150-250 cats and kittens in our care. Most of those kitties are in foster homes while 40-50 may be at our shelter. We love to make the purrfect match for you so you and your kitty will live long and healthy lives together.
