Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IRIS is a very sweet, well mannered girl who will do best in a quiet and relaxed home as the only pet and will be included in daily activities (couch sitting, getting ready for work, cooking) She loves attention and being petted, brushed gently, and rubbing her face against your hand, and then licking it ! She is on a special diet because of her food allergy but that has no impact on her at all. She is a bit skittish at first, and may take a while to get comfortable in her new home. But once she does, look out! She will be your best friend.

PUBLIC HOURS: WE ARE NOW OPEN TO THE PUBLIC ON FRIDAYS & SUNDAYS ONLY from 1PM - 3:30 PM with no appointment necessary! Please be aware that you a cannot play with, put on hold, or adopt a cat or kitten without an approved application on file! It is always better to get pre-approved!

ADOPTION HOURS: Adoptions are still being done BY APPOINTMENT Wednesday through Sunday 1pm - 4pm, for pre-approved adopters only.

Whiskers Pet Rescue is a no-kill cat rescue organization in Southbury, Connecticut. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity of volunteers committed to helping and caring for cats and kittens who have been abandoned, injured, abused, or neglected. We're a hard-working group of people with a huge passion for helping our whiskered friends. We rescue and adopt out hundreds of cats and kittens each year, placing them in loving forever homes.

We are constantly rescuing new cats/kittens in need and we won’t rest until each and every one of them has found their forever family.
