Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Bjarnsen is about 18 weeks old and just the best! If we didn't have our own elderly pups we know are going to need a lot of upcoming care, she would probably be staying with us forever.
She's kennel trained, sleeps all night, not a yapper, potty trained with a dog door, is chill as heck—seriously—and LOVES learning tricks! She saw her first snow this weekend and it was hilarious to see her run laps when she's otherwise so relaxed. She stays out of faces and doesn’t jump up after only having to tell her once. She isn’t a huge snuggler, but loves to be around people. She’s independent and unbothered by loud noises or sudden movements. She also likes to eat laying down, which honestly, wouldn’t we all?
Great with other dogs and kids, haven't tried her with cats but based on her demeanor she would love them. She is a dog that everyone instantly loves. She would thrive with a family who could train her to her full potential. We are talking therapy dog potential here, folks!
This sweet girl is in a foster home. If you’re interested in meeting/adopting her the next step is to fill out an adoption application on our website at www.souldog.org and someone will be in touch with you for next steps!

More about this rescue
Soul Dog is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue organization founded with the mission to spay/neuter and protect animals. We are currently a small group of committed volunteers making a difference in the life of one animal at a time. As an all volunteer administration, all donations made to Soul Dog go directly to improving the health of the pets that share our lives.
Soul Dog is proactive in animal welfare advancing the need for spaying and neutering our pets to reduce overpopulation. We travel to rural communities on Native American reservations, where spaying and neutering will only happen if it is nearly free or very convenient. Soul Dog works with volunteer veterinarians to provide the spaying and neutering service at no cost to the public. Donations are used to defray the costs associated with medications, supplies, and the operating cost for clinics.
