My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LOCATED IN WATERLOO, ON
DOB 24 Oct 2022
Microchipped

Hi, I’m Cauldron — a sweet, active, and playful girl with a curious streak! I adore running around, being silly with my kitty friends, and playing with all kinds of toys. Recently, I discovered something amazing: I also love being petted!

My foster mom calls me a total love-bug. I'm curious about people and run to her for pets whenever she enters the room. She'll kiss and hold me, but I’m still getting used to being picked up and held, so I won’t stay in her arms for long. I want her loving though! So, for now, I'll just hop out of her arms in a few moments, BUT happily stick around to share more loving with her... I can be a little shy with new people at first, but with a bit of patience (and some treats), I’ll warm up quickly. When I’m happy, I’ll rub against you, purr my quirky little purr, and maybe even let out a playful chirp — especially when I’m having fun with other cats.

Speaking of other cats, I love playing tag or chasing toys with my rescue "sister" Penny Wise and other feline friends. (I definitely need the company of at least one other friendly cat.) Exploring cabinets and closets for “cat treasure” is another favourite pastime. And speaking of favourite things, I love my food! And treats? Shake a treat bag, and I’ll come running. I'll even lick Churu treats off your fingers. Offer me food and, yep, I’m all yours. I’m proud to say I'm a lady with the litter box and know how to use scratching posts for kitty manicures.

My rescue "sister" Pennywise and I are happy, healthy, and adaptable girls who've started to blossom in the laid-back home our foster family. But we're ready for a forever family where we can continue to bloom, and share love and joy each day. Would you like to share that together?

Additional adoption info

Adoption fee is $225 per adult cat, and $300 for kittens (under 8 months old).

This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!

Note:
-Senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopter's choice, vs. our standard adult adoption fee of $225.
-Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $175 per cat vs. $225 per cat. Thanks for giving two loving friends a home together!
