Mufasa was brought in by a community member on December 10, 2024.

Meet Mufasa, a lovable dog who is looking for a patient and understanding family to call his own. Mufasa can be shy with new people and unfamiliar environments, but once he feels comfortable, he is a loyal companion who enjoys attention. He warms up with the help of treats, making him a good candidate for a family that can offer a calm, supportive atmosphere. Once he feels comfortable, Mufasa can be jumpy at times when he gets excited, so he'll need someone who can handle his energy. He is crate trained, making him a good fit for a structured household, but he is not suited for busy public places like farmers markets due to his fearful behavior. He needs a family who will respect his space and give him plenty of time to adjust to new situations. Mufasa will do best with someone who is patient, and who won't force interactions but will instead let him come out of his shell at his own pace. Want to learn more?
