My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Echo and Murphy, a stunning bonded pair of Bengal cats searching for their forever home together. These active, intelligent, and curious cats thrive on adventure and will need safe outdoor access, such as a secure catio or harnessed walks to channel their energy in a healthy way.

Both cats are affectionate and form strong bonds with their humans but prefer to interact on their terms. They are highly social with each other, enjoying playtime, exploring their surroundings, and curling up together for naps. Their ideal home would be in a calm environment with experienced cat owners who understand the unique needs of the Bengal breed. They have previously lived with a dog , but preferred to keep to themselves.

These beautiful cats are sure to bring endless joy and entertainment to the right family. If you can provide them with the love, care, and outdoor access they need, Echo and Murphy might be the perfect addition to your home!

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

    Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

    Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

    Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

    1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

    2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

    3. Freedom from distress

    4. Freedom from discomfort

    5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
