Donny is full of love and is eager to have some fun in a foster home while he recovers.

Reason for Foster: Heartworm + & Bloodwork

Foster Time Frame: 4 months

Foster Care Plan: Donny is being treated for heartworms. He is also being monitored for elevated blood levels and will need to have his bloodwork redone in 1 week. He will go home with medication and will have a medical consultation at his pickup appointment, so you are fully prepared to take great care of this sweet boy.

Foster to Adopt: Donny is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption. In addition to pet adoptions and lifesaving medical care, our programs provide foster care for vulnerable animals, resources for pet parents, affordable veterinary services for community pets, a pet food pantry and volunteer opportunities.
