My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Gemma! I am a pretty little potato girl that was sadly surrendered to the shelter when my owner was not able to help with my health. I had a pretty nasty, painful ear infection for a while, and they believed they were not able to help. Luckily, the shelter vet team were able to help me out and give me a good ear cleaning and some medication, and I am now on the mend! I am still a bit sensitive around my ears though, so I ask that you please be gentle! There may be some sort of allergy component going on with my ear infections as they are somewhat a chronic thing for me. My future family will need to be willing to give me frequent ear cleanings to keep me in tip-top shape! I am a sweet girl that loves everyone, but I would prefer living in a home with children that are on the older side and can be respectful. I have also lived with both dogs and cats, so I would have no issues living with them again in the future! I would love a more active family that will be able to keep up with my energy and give me the exercise that I need because, as already stated, I kinda resemble a potato.... teehee! I am very affectionate and would love nothing more than to have a new lap to rest my head on! Maybe we could be a perfect match! Come meet me at the shelter to find out!
