Meet Oscar, a gentle, sweet-natured grey boy who has already captured the hearts of everyone he meets. Oscar came to us after a tough ordeal—he was attacked by a wild animal and has been healing ever since. While his injuries are still being treated, his spirit remains as bright and loving as ever. Oscar is a quiet, affectionate cat who enjoys being around people. He’s the kind of kitty who will curl up in your lap and purr contentedly once he feels safe and loved. Though he’s not quite ready for adoption yet, we’re confident that with a little more time and care, Oscar will make an amazing companion. He may have had a rough start, but Oscar’s resilience shines through. He’s incredibly sweet and has shown nothing but kindness and trust toward the humans who care for him. This brave boy will need a family who understands that he still needs time to fully recover, but he’ll be worth the wait.
How much does it cost to adopt: already fixed? Oscar`s adoption price is $110, which includes a free vet visit from one of our three area veterinary clinic partners: Alpena Veterinary Clinic, Switzer Veterinary Clinic, or Sunrise Veterinary Clinic, and the peace of mind of knowing your new furry family member is up-to-date on all standard age-appropriate vaccinations and preventative treatments, along with testing and a bag of adoption food.
He was also vaccinated for rabies so a $25 charge has been added to cover the cost of the vaccine. The total cost to adopt Oscar is $135.
