Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Whiskey! He was born 11/17/2020 and adopted from a breeder. Unfortunately, his family no longer has time for him so they turned to Legacy Humane Society for help. He's currently in foster care waiting for his new family.

Whiskey is 65 lbs, house and crate trained and good with kids and other dogs. He's neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Stay tuned for more pics and info as we get to know Whiskey!

We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be up to date current on Heartworm prevention and S/N. If a home visit is needed, we will complete that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fees are listed here: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-fees/. There is a 5-day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family. A full refund will be issued if the pet is returned within the 5-day trial period. Our Purpose is:

To rescue adoptable dogs and puppies from animal shelters and animal control facilities
