This adorable, petite boy is Teddy! He appreciates a slow, gentle approach when experiencing new people and places. He warms up with some yummy treats or a game of fetch, and he'll let you know he's ready for pets by leaning into you or crawling into your lap! Teddy loves tennis balls, going for walks, and playing with his favorite people. He may benefit from living with a well-adjusted dog, and he will only be placed in a home without children. Primary Color: Black Weight: 25.2 Age: 0yrs 6mths 1wks

How to Adopt from Foothills Animal Shelter:
Visit the Shelter or one of our offsite adoption partner locations to find a pet. Once you’ve decided on an animal, you should check with staff to see the status and history of the animal. At this time, you can fill out an adoption application and visit with the animal.
We recommend you bring all family members to the Shelter to meet with the animal before you consider adopting. If you are interested in adopting a dog, bring any household dogs to the Shelter to determine if it is a good match. Also, if you rent your home, please bring the pet policy in your lease or rental agreement and contact information for your landlord.
Once your application is reviewed, you can pay the adoption fees and take your new pet home. It may take some time for your new pet to adjust to its new environment. If you have questions or concerns after adopting, please contact us at 303-278-7575.
