Meet Akai, a sweet little pup who is looking for a family to spoil her! This friendly girl came into our care needing some extra TLC and has been a trooper every step of the way. Akai has chronic ear and skin infections that will require ongoing management with a veterinarian, but she doesn't let that dampen her spirits. She loves treats, walks well on a leash, and is always ready to charm her way into your heart. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized.
