Meet Hostess, the gentle soul of the trio! While her sisters Moonpie and Whoopie may steal the spotlight with their outgoing antics, Hostess has a quieter charm that’s impossible to resist. She’s a bit shy at first, but once she warms up, you’ll discover her secret love language: rub the base of her tail, and she’ll arch her back and lift her little butt for more pets! Growing up in a foster home with cats and a dog has given her a solid foundation for socialization, and she’s ready to blossom even further in her forever home. Hostess may be soft-spoken, but she has so much love to give to the right family!

FMAR felines are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated for age-appropriate shots, and negative for FIV/FeLV.

More about this shelter

We are a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter comprised mostly of volunteers. We take in cats and dogs from local shelters and the public who can no longer care for their pets. Each of the volunteers at FMAR has a tremendous amount of love for animals and simply wants to do what they can to ensure that as many animals as possible find a forever home. Until then, each animal has a home at FMAR indefinitely.
