Meet Calvin! 🤎
Calvin is a 1 year old Catahoula mix looking for his fur-ever home at the Humane Society. Calvin is nothing like what you’d expect from a young Catahoula: he’s calm, quiet, and super cuddly 🥰 He’s definitely got a thing or two to learn, but he’s young and highly food motivated, so training should be a breeze! Calvin is an amazing travel buddy, and loves spending time outdoors. He doesn’t need constant entertainment to be satisfied, he likes to find a nice place to lay down and just enjoy the breeze 😎 He loved experiencing resort life today and chowing down on poolside pawpsicles 😍 Calvin is a biiiiigggg cuddler and will flop right into your lap to soak up all the love he can get ❤️ If only dogs could tell us their stories- the burn scars on Calvin’s paws suggest he’s already endured so much at just 1 year old 😢 Calvin can be particular about his furry friends, so a meet and greet is encouraged if there are other pups in the home. We would love to see this beautiful, loving baby find a forever family that will show him the love and care he deserves 💛

After you have visited our shelter and chosen a pet you’d like to adopt, please complete an application. We require all adopters to meet the animal and spend time with them. We also offer sleep overs to make sure it is a good fit.
