Panda is a 4 year old Schnauzer x Poodle mix who is black, white, and adorable all over! Panda was rescued from the shelter where he was left matted and in desperate need of some TLC. We scooped him up and promised to find him the perfect home to show him how amazing he is. Panda weighs 18 pounds and has a no-shedding coat that makes him an option for homes with allergies. If you’re hoping to find a fluffy friend who loves naps and treats, come and meet Panda today!

If we had three words to describe Panda, they would be “best dog ever”! He is friendly, making new friends wherever he goes as he trots down the block. He is a snuggler, always finding the warmest lap or bed to curl up in. He is smart and has picked up a few tricks in only a few days! He does the most adorable high-paw you’ve ever seen if you ask his foster humans! Panda is the perfect blend of energetic and laid back. He is happy to sleep or snuggle all day if you let him but he also adores playtime and his walks. He’s like an all around MVP as he just wants to do whatever makes you the happiest! Panda would thrive in a home where there is tons of love to go around, as he is practically overflowing with adoration for all he meets. He is a huge lover who knows exactly how to wiggle his way into your arms and heart from the second you meet him. We rarely have fosters who are so effusive in their praise for their temporary visitors, so trust us when we say this is a once in a lifetime kind of dog!

Panda wakes up around 7 AM but is always happy to sleep in when his people do. He eats within an hour of waking up and then heads out to do his business in the yard. During the day, you can find Panda either curled up on the lap of one of his humans or romping around in the yard. He has an ever-growing collection of plush dog beds that he rotates between, much to the amusement of his foster humans. Panda typically goes out on a walk in the afternoon and then he lounges until he is ready for dinner, around 5 PM. In the evening, Panda hangs out on the couch soaking up his cuddles until he is ready to head to bed.

Panda adores other dogs and is currently a member of a large pack. He is best friends with the resident 95 pound dog and they love snoozing together. Panda walks very well on a leash. He is potty trained and knows how to use a dog door. Panda just can’t wait to soak up every minute of attention you have to show him, so why wait? Come start your adventure today!

Panda is an option for any home, regardless of prior dog owning experience. Kids should be over the age of 5.

More about this rescue

We are passionate folks who love dogs and love people! We strive to make the most appropriate match between human and canine. Because our dogs live in foster homes we know about their temperament and personality and therefore can help families and individuals decide if the dog is a good match or not. We are excited to help people find the right pooch for them and look forward to meeting great folks and welcoming them into the DPS Family.
