My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking to cook up a love that lasts? Well, sweet Hatch, a 3-year-old Great Pyrenees mix, has the recipe for companionship. Hatch was rescued by the City of Lockhart Police Department, so while we don't know his past, we know his future is bright! He is a gentle giant with a calm demeanor- making him a good addition to any home that can handle his size. Great Pyrenees are highly intelligent dogs, so he should do well with new adjustments or training. Since entering our program he has been a good boy with a heart longing for a peaceful place to call home. This boy is a dog worth savoring. Don't let his love go by- submit your application below!

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
