My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Boq! Not to be confused with a chicken Bawk or the Bok building! This Tiny guy from Muchkinland can’t wait but to win over your heart!

Boq was found as a stray by a family and was brought into the shelter to find his forever home. He was shy at first from all the new changes but he quickly warms up once he is comfortable. Boq is such a spunky guy with a big personality! If he’s board and wants your attention he’s not afraid to let you know by stealing something from you or the more direct approach of jumping on you and licking your face.

He is such a smart guy! We are already working on sit, lay down and a crowd favorite of giving finger guns for him to roll over for belly rubs. With all his wit we are surprised he is not house broken yet. He typically wears a belly band diaper inside at the moment to help avoid accidents. He would love a home where he can get some consistency and has the time and patience to work on his potty training journey.

Do you have dogs? He LOVES them! Kids? He’s your guy! A cat? He stays out of their way and keeps the peace. He’s even met a chicken and just walked away.

He has already been neutered and chipped but we are still working on some signs of allergies. He will reverse sneeze or cough from time to time on walks. He is currently on a course of meds to see if it will help improve some of his symptoms.

Boq's foster has found him to be an absolute joy, and would love tell you more about him!
